Multi-Point Safety Interlock System
Our VCB trolley features a full set of interlock protection, covering mechanical, electrical and position interlocks. It standardizes all on-site operations with strict safety logic.
The trolley is mechanically locked and only movable when the circuit breaker is open. In the same way, the breaker can only be closed after the trolley is fully seated and securely locked in place.
This foolproof interlock system prevents operational mistakes on site. It eliminates electric shock and short-circuit risks, protects operators from safety hazards, and maintains stable and reliable operation of the entire power distribution system.
First, confirm the earthing switch is open, the cabinet door is fully closed, and the five-prevention interlock is unlocked. Next, check the guide rails for foreign objects. Also verify whether the drawer is tilted or stuck on the rails.
This issue mainly stems from four common faults. The drawer may not be fully locked in place. Aging tulip contacts can cause insufficient spring tension. Mismatched moving and static contacts will also cause heating. In addition, oxidized or dirty contact surfaces lead to poor conductivity.
You can fix the problem by repositioning and fully seating the drawer, replacing worn contacts, cleaning the contact surface and applying conductive grease.
This indicates a fault with the five-prevention interlock system. It is usually caused by deformed interlock connecting rods, loose springs or worn parts.
Stop using the equipment immediately and arrange maintenance. This fault may cause dangerous accidents if the drawer is pulled out under load.
